The Quitters are a guitar duo, consisting of a right-side up finger picker and an upside down flat picker. More importantly they were two of the three founding members of the virtuoso string band, The Waybacks, and one was the long-time lead guitarist for, Houston Jones. Now they play together, on their own, hence the name, "The Quitters". They deliver a mostly acoustic celebration of flatpick and fingerstyle mastery, plus vocals, spiced with humor and serendipity. https://www.quittersduo.com

Glenn Houston's guitarist influences range from Albert King to Doc Watson, as shows in his mastery of both the acoustic and electric guitar. He co-founded the Waybacks in 1999 with Stevie Coyle and Chojo Jacques, was co-founder of the Houston Jones band, with vocalist Travis Jones.

Stevie Coyle was inspired to take up finger-picking guitar by the first Hot Tuna album. After degrees in Theatre and Theology he hit the road with The Royal Lichtenstein Circus, doing comedy, magic, wire-walking, sword-swallowing, and juggling. He collaborated with Roy Zimmerman for 25 years, including the folk tribute / parody band, The Foremen, and comedy duo, The Reagan Bros. In 1999 he co-founded The Waybacks and toured with them from through 2007. Since then he has released a solo CD and opened his own high-end acoustic guitar shop, Mighty Fine Guitars, in Lafayette, CA.

Bonny June & Bonfire have been playing Santa Cruz venues together since 2012. You may have heard their tunes Ride, Courage, Ride and Dontcha Tell the Preacheron KPIG radio. Bonny's original songs tell wild and beautiful stories, brought to life with stellar harmonies and performances by guitarist Ken Kraft (White Album Ensemble) and bassist Craig Owens (Lacy J. Dalton) of Snail band fame. Coined by fans as "Americana meets Vaudeville", an evening with Bonfire is sure to delight the listener with a varied cast of characters such as villains & heroines, lovers & legends.
