Call 831 479-9421 or buy tickets hereChuck Brodsky is a storyteller, a songwriter, a troubadour, a modern day bard. His wit and irony, down-to-earth warmth, and quirky, rootsy, finely crafted songs tell stories of oddball and underdog characters. His songs celebrate the goodness in people, the eccentric, the holy, the profound, the courageous, the inspiring, the beautiful. They poke fun at what needs poking and sometimes challenge what needs to be challenged. They are sworn to tell the truth. Over the past 25 years Chuck has performed at festivals and in concerts all across the USA, Canada, Ireland, Denmark, England, Israel, Lithuania, Latvia, Wales, and the Shetland Isles of Scotland. He's performed three times at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and 22 of his songs have been enshrined in the Hall of Fame's sound recording library. http://www.chuckbrodsky.com

She has garnered top honors from some of the most prestigious song writing contests: The Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk award, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival's Troubadour Award and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Songwriting Showcase Award. Trained in voice at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, she is also an excellent fingerstyle guitarist. She travels with her yoga mat, but without her gallbladder. She is compassionate, very sharp, and will talk about anything on stage. She may sing songs about body piercing, a more user-friendly Barbie Doll, the loneliness of an elderly neighbor, or how small and humble things in life can sew your heart back together. One way or another she will make you cry. Cosy has CD's in double figures to her name. www.cosysheridan.com

AT MICHAEL'S ON MAIN
2591 Main St, Soquel, CA 95073, Reservations online or call 831 479 9777Guitarist and Harp-guitarist Muriel Anderson takes you on a journey in music and stories, with a backdrop of visuals artfully compiled by photo-artist Bryan Allen. It is a musical journey through space and around the world. Sometimes whimsical, always engaging, bringing together diverse cultures and settings. Truly an experience of all the senses, this year Muriel Anderson's show incorporates her new recipes project, Acoustic Chef including tastes, images and music from around the world. Muriel's obvious joy of music, humor and her comfort across genres of folk, classical, bluegrass, popular and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide. She is an engaging performer with a unique approach to the instrument. One minute she launches into a startlingly authentic Spanish-style original, then a Beatles' tune, and next virtually transforms the guitar into Bluegrass band, a marching band, then a Japanese koto. Muriel's innovative CD that lights up, Nightlight Daylight was chosen as one of the top 10 CDs of the decade by Guitar Player Magazine. Her new project is an international cookbook with a CD containing a tune for each recipe. Muriel is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship and has performed/recorded with Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Victor Wooten and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. She is host of the renowned Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night and founder of the Music For Live Alliance charity. http://murielanderson.com
Santa Cruzian, Steve Palazzo is a Santa Cruz County Arts Council Gail Rich Awards winner in the music category. The show will feature Steve and Charlie Rice singing old-time country duets with Charlie drawing heavily from the pre-Bluegrass 1930's era of classic "brother duets" by the likes of the Delmore Brothers, Blue Sky Boys & Monroe Brothers, right up through the Louvin and Everly Brothers.
