The Nell & Jim Band bring together genre-busting artists and joyful music infused with folk, bluegrass, Americana, roots, swing, jazz, and blues. Alt-Roots, Folkbilly - whatever you call it - it's original, well done, and a pleasure to hear. Featuring Nell Robinson on flute & vocals, and Jim Nunally on guitar & vocals, with backing by Jim Kerwin on upright bass, Rob Reich on accordion and keyboards, and Alex Aspinall on percussion, the band gave an outstanding performance for us last year…and the year before, and we are very happy to have them back again! www.nellandjim.com

Nell (aka Hilary Perkins) started her professional singing career later in life, "after 25 years of singing in my car", but has one of the finest voices in roots music. She honors her southern roots by taking, as her stage name, that of her Alabama grandmother.

Jim, as performer, composer, and record producer has been a staple of Bay Area bluegrass and traditional music for a quarter of a century. He has worked with many bands (including David Grisman) and has received Grammy and IBMA awards and has twice won the Western Flatpicking Guitar Championship.

This year Michael Doucet, will be touring in an intimate trio setting with his latest musical collaborators Sarah Quintana and Chad Viator. BeauSoleil's iconic founder, Michael Doucet; the multi-Grammy winner and National Heritage Fellowship recipient has released his first solo album in 10 years this on Compass Records. Entitled "Lacher Prise (Let it Go)”, the album departs from the established sound of BeauSoleil (currently celebrating their 44th year together) with a more energized exploration of the regional music of his home state of Louisiana. Doucet describes the album's music as “Les îles Français Zarico”, a description that takes into account an eclectic mix of styles including New Orleans rhythm & blues and Southwest Louisiana rock ‘n roll, as well as his own interpretations of zydeco and Cajun, infused with the intoxicating rhythms of the French Caribbean. https://beausoleilmusic.com

The Keller Sisters, Sheryl (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Kerry (cajon, harmonica, uke, vocals), from San Francisco, have a lifetime of singing together, started out by practicing Beatles harmonies as kids and joining their mother in musical theater. Their original material (Americana, folk, blues, musical theater) is filled with harmony, humor, and their warm stage presence. They have made 3 albums and are working on a 4th. http://www.thekellersisters.com
"…splendid evening, and your material rendered a warm and textual contribution" - Music at the Meadow

Travis Jones, at age 4, sang gospel with his mother, a professional blues singer, in the deep south. After an extensive carrier in various bands, including in Europe while serving 6 years in the army, he came to California, where he started and led several more bands, and worked a considerable time in live theater (most notably as musical director and star of "Lost Highway, the legend and music of Hank Williams"). He has shared the stage with many well-known artists (eg Waylon Jennings, John Hartford) and for over a decade was the lead singer in Houston Jones (7 CDs) and now fills the same role for The Jones Gang. www.thejonesgang.com
