Jeffrey Halford is a soulful singer-songwriter with musical and literary influences ranging from Roger Miller and Johnny Cash, to Raymond Carver and Pablo Neruda. He is an excellent blues slide guitarist and has shared the stage with the likes of Taj Mahal, Los Lobos, Etta James, Robert Earl Keen, Guy Clark, and Dave Alvin, plus many others. He honed his chops playing on the street in San Francisco for a couple of years to crowds in Union Square and Chinatown. He then backed blues artists in Oakland, and eventually formed his own band, The Healers. He has made 7 albums along the way. http://www.jeffreyhalford.com

"A talented wordsmith with the soul of a rugged roadhouse rocker" - Michael Berick, No Depression

Gerard Egan is best known as the guitarist (and vocalist) in The Carolyn Sills Combo, playing both acoustic and electric guitars. Recently he has also been playing lap steel in the duo, Poi Rodgers, with Carolyn, and doing some solo singer songwriter shows.

The show at Ugly Mug will be intimate and acoustic with Jeffrey on slide guitar and lead vocals, accompanied by Gerard on guitars, lap steel, and harmony vocals.
