Sam Misner, guitar, and Megan Smith, stand-up bass, from Berkeley, played in this series about 15 years ago, a few years into their partnership. We were enthralled by their harmonies their perfectly clear delivery, and their material. We invited them back immediately, but at that time they were working mainly as actors and could not make it. Now they are mostly musicians again, with a beautiful new album just out, All is Song (their 6th) and we are delighted to have them finally return to our intimate stage. www.misnerandsmith.com

Coined by fans as "Americana meets Vaudeville", owing to their flair for dramatic storytelling, this trio harmonizes wonderfully. A Bonfire show is playful, comedic, deep and dynamic. Songstress/songwriter, Bonny June's beautiful vocals are expertly accompanied by guitarist Ken Kraft (Snail; White Album Ensemble) and bassist Craig Owens (Lacy J Dalton), who also provide perfect harmony and some lead vocals. This will be the 5th time Bonny has celebrated her birthday at the Mug.
